How do I choose between Hot Stamping and Debossing for my packaging?

  • Hot Stamping is our most popular choice for a high-impact, metallic look. It uses heat to press colored foil into your boxes or pouches for a vibrant finish.
  • Debossing (also called blind stamping) creates a permanent, deep indentation without foil. We recommend this for a subtle, high-end look on materials like velvet, leather, or velour.

Why do I need to provide vector artwork?

  • Vector files (like .AI or .EPS) are based on mathematical paths rather than pixels. This allows us to scale your logo to any size—from a small pouch to a large box—without it becoming blurry or 'pixelated', ensuring a crisp, professional print.

What are your standard payment terms?

  • We offer Net 30 terms for all rated accounts. If you do not have a rated account, we can quickly process your order using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.

Can I use a photo or a multi-colored logo for hot stamping?

  • Hot stamping is best suited for simple, one-color designs. We recommend avoiding photos, CMYK colors, or very fine lines, as these do not translate well to the foil stamping process. For best results, text should be at least 9 point font.

Is the printing on fabric pouches permanent?

  • Hot Foil Stamping on fabric is a beautiful but temporary application that can eventually rub off with heavy use. For a permanent brand mark that will never flake, we recommend our debossing process.

How do 'One-Time Die Charges' work?

  • The die is the custom metal plate used to stamp your logo. You only pay this fee once per design size. We keep your die on file for all future reorders of that same size, saving you money on repeat business.
